Although there is still scepticism about using ISO9000, there are a growing number of practitioners who realise that it can and does work if approached in a practical and common sense way, and with the primary focus on the business aims and objectives.

The recent revision of ISO9000 (now properly ISO9001:2000), has provided an opportunity for users to gain greater benefits from its use in that it can be interpreted more easily and applied more practically to just about any business or organisation. Remember its all about "Continuous Improvement". Please review the model below

You don't currently use ISO9000 but:

You may need it in order to gain contracts.
You are not sure how much it will cost.
You wonder if it really can promote business improvement.
You want to use its principles without the expense of actual registration

Or, you already have ISO9000 registration but:

You feel it should be benefiting the business more than it has.
you still need to upgrade to the ISO9001:2000 revision.
You want to minimise the admin overheads that it may have generated.

If adopting a practical approach to implementing ISO9000, all the above cases can be very effectively catered for, whilst at the same time ensuring that the existing business aims and objectives are central to the management system. Please contact us for an informal discussion, or maybe just some advice.

Currently we only offer advice on ISO9000 although we do use some of the techniques of QS9000 where appropriate.
